ITINERARY CHIANG MAI-CHIANG RAI 5 DAYS 4 NIGHTS

Assalamualaikum..untuk entri ni,kami share itinerary 5 hari 4 malam kami di Chiang Mai & Chiang Rai.

Travel agent or DIY?

Walaupun menggunakan khidmat agent, tour ni kami kira macam private jugalah...sebab hanya melibatkan kami 3 beranak, bukan the typical tour beramai-ramai..macam rombongan Cik Kiah tu.
But,apa-apa pun ni adalah personal opinion kami sahaja.Lain orang lain citarasa...

Kalau ditakdirkan kami pergi lagi, inshaa Allah kami akan DIY..sebab senang jer.Cari hotel kat sekitar Halal Street,Hilal Town sebab senang dapat makanan halal dan bervariasi (makanan Thai, western,Indian food,Turkish dsb).Untuk day tour banyak jer travel agents/ hotel-hotel yang provide such service.Harga sangat reasonable.

Untuk transportation dalam city, boleh guna grab.Yang jauh-jauh tu,guna transportation provided by travel agents.Public transportation mungkin tak berapa convenient sebab most attractions di Chiang Mai & Chiang Rai ni kan terletak di kawasan pergunungan.

Timing

(pembakaran hutan-spontaneous atau by human).
April-Oktober;musim hujan..tapi,flight murah dan less crowd..hu hu

Kalau ada nak datang sini untuk specific acara, make sure the timing is correct. Kalau nak merasa tengok bunga sakura, biasanya January & Feb (tapi kami takde rezeki).
Kalau nak gi beach...forget Chiang Mai & Chiang Rai!!Ni kat gunung babe..

Jadi,ni lah iti kami..

LAST DAY -CHIANG MAI

Iron Bridge-the most photographed bridge

Hari terakhir di Chiang Mai...rasa nak bermalas-malasan sahaja..

Pagi ni saya meround sekitar Ratana Hotel..

The iconic Iron Bridge (with Ping River flows underneath it) is very near to our hotel. It's nothing special, but locals do love to hang out on it-fishing,taking selfies or having dates...

River Market restaurant,near the bridge..

Few snaps around Kalare Night Bazaar.

Di hadapan Masjid Hidayatul Islam Baan Haw di Hilal Street,Halal Town...pasar pagi di kalangan penduduk Muslim.Maybe setiap pagi Jumaat..

Kangkung goreng tepung

Selepas tu,terus ke airport...pulang ke tanahair tercinta.Solat dulu di bilik solat,1st floor airport..

Alhamdulillah..tamat kisah percutian di Chiang Mai..

DAY 4 - Tulips & Little Switzerland....in Chiang Rai

Doi Tung a.k.a little Switzerland of Thailand

Bird Hotel, sangat impressive.

Selepas breakfast di hotel, kami check out dari Hotel Green View Place.Mengikut itinerary asal, kami sepatutnya pergi ke Mae Sai,sempadan Thailand-Myanmar untuk shopping Indo China product.Kami check aturcara...mak aii, sampai 4 jam bershopping?Malam baru sampai ke Chiang Mai?No way... lagipun,we're not really keen in buying knock-off products. So,we decided to skip this touristy place & headed off to Doi Tung instead...

Doi Tung ni digelar as little Switzerland of Thailand (minus the snow, off course!).Disebabkan ia adalah gunung di Tanah Tinggi Thailand di Wilayah Chiang Rai,...suhu di sini agak nyaman.Ketika kami sampai...suhu 10 degree...memang best!Destinasi pertama kami ialah ..

Mae Fa Luang Garden

Sini pun ada tree top walk & zipline...bayaran masuk lain

Ada vibe Gardens by The Bay

Beautiful..mini founttain

Her Royal Highness Princess Srinagarindra, the late Princess Mother (the late King's mother) was responsible for setting up this village.Princess Mother's wish was to give Thai people who had never travelled overseas an opportunity to enjoy temperate garden.

Jagung rebus- purple belang kuning
The garden is located on 10 acres of land that was originally the Akha Village of Pa Kluay, part of an important route for opium caravans and those involved in heroin-related trafficking and weapons in the past.

Chiang Rai Flower Festival

Stopover at Charin Garden Resort

Otw dari Chiang Rai ke Chiang Mai...singgah sini jap..kira macam R&R

Check in Hotel Ratana,Chiang Mai

Alhamdulillah, sampai ke Chiang Mai jam 6 petng.Kalau tak skip shopping kat sempadan Myanmar tu,may be kami sampai Chiang Mai lewat malam.

A lovely halal restaurant with relaxing background music and rustic wood decor theme. At first,we thought we were going to have  Middle East cuisine as the owner dia orang Arab. But,turned out having these...

Night bazaar

Last nite at Chiang Mai...window shopping jer..sambil dengar buskers menyanyi & main muzik.
Pad Thai

Maggie goreng
 Esok...last day...yahoooo..
