DAY 9 - BELFAST BACK TO DUBLIN......& LAST DAY

Salam...kembara terakhir..sebelum pulang ke Malaysia keesokan harinya.

Sebelum tu...jom round2 Belfast City.Nampak satu perarakan keagamaan...we had no clues...tujuan perarakan ni...takpelah..ambik saja foto buat kenangan

Kemudian...kita berjalan ke Belfast City Hall...the stunning landmark of Northern Ireland

The hall’s primary use is for the city council to gather and discuss policies

Sebenarnya,tempat ni merupakan muzium...boleh tengok pameran tentang sejarah shipmaking dan legasi perindustrian yang ditinggalkan oleh Harland & Wolff (shipbuilders)

Di sinilah tempatnya Titanic di design,dibina & dilancarkan perasmiannya pada 1912

Orang kata,kalau pergi Belfast,jangan lupa singgah di St George's Market

Meneruskan perjalanan pulang ke Dublin.Selesai solat jama' Zuhur & Asar,kami naik bas seterusnya menapak keluar ke city untuk lunch.

Memang kami tak naik kereta,memandangkan pada hari tersebut Pope St Francis arrived at Dublin for World Meeting of Families 2018.Ni memang international Catholic event that takes place every 3 years...dijangkakan lebih 1/2 juta pengikut (luar & dalam Ireland) akan turun ke Dublin.

Brahim pon ada sini..harga dalam €1.50,oklah tu..lebih kurang harga kat Msia

Orang kaya je boleh makan nih...€14 sekilo!

Destinasi terakhir...Trinity College.

2 benda yang famous di Trinity College nih...1.Its old library yang menjadi inspirasi kepada Long Room dalam cerita Harry Potter 2. The Book of Kells

Ramai betul umat yang berkumpul kat Trinity College..the reason..ada ceremony sempena kedatangan Pope ke Dublin

Gate depan ditutup...kecewa tak dapat masuk!

Pas tu guard bagi tau...boleh masuk dari another entrance...yahoo!

Sebenarnya,kalau ada student Trinity...dia boleh bawa 2 guests masuk ke dalam kolej for free (tapi ada kuota berapa kali boleh bawak per year).Masa kami bercuti...semua kawan-kawan Bang Bil yang study kat Trinity ni tengah bercuti di Malaysia...so,kena bayarlah..

Tapi,disebabkan penjual tiket tu get spelled by Mama's (& Bang Bil's) charm...he allowed us to pay for family package je..Kid #1 & #2 considered as 'student Trinity' (for that day!).Alhamdulillah...rezeki.

Book of Kells ni dah dipamerkan di Old Library,Trinity College sejak pertengahan kurun ke 19 lagi.Sebenarnya,ia adalah naskah Bible yang terdiri dari 4 gospels.

Saiz buku 13" x 10 "- painfully handwritten and illustrated by monks

Jangan buang banyak masa kat sini...terlalu ramai yang datang tengok..macamla paham baca Latin..hi hi

The highlight of the tour..the Long Room,off course!

Harry Potter scene was never shot here...but the look of Hogwart's Library was inspired by this Old Library at Trinity.

Kawasan sekitar Trinity College.

Sebelum pulang ke rumah...singgah jap kat Chicken Hut,our favourite restaurant...kira macam KFC lah (sini takde KFC halal).

Kat Dublin ni,tak kira kita order single dish ke...ala cart ke..jumbo pack ke...memang akan dibagi 2 dipping sauce aje.Cuma hari tu...orang kedai tu suka tengok muka anak bongsu kami,dia bagi extra 5 dipping sauces...Alhamdulillah.Sos tomato yang peket-peket kecik memang ada dibekalkan..Sos cili ,memang tak de ya kat obersea..tu kat Malaysia jer!
